Critchley Hackle Lodge really is a place of relaxation. It's the perfect place for the wedding of a lifetime, a conference getaway or just as a place to find yourself.

One of the activities you can really enjoy on a Mpumalanga holiday is fly fishing. The lake is filled with Trout. Should you want to test your skills and enjoy an afternoon of Trout fishing, tackle is available from the lodge at a small charge.

Horse riding is available nearby as well as nature reserve walks. There is a library for quiet relaxation and small meetings. The garden swimming pool and sundeck are next to the lake, the pool is perfect for those warm days of your Mpumalanga holiday.

Weddings

The entire hotel must be reserved for both Friday and Saturday night or one night mid-week. Weddings include bed and breakfast, exclusivity of the hotel and optional wedding reception dinners.

The reception dinner is a 5 course menu. You can also arrange what type of menu you want with the Head Chef. If there are any special dietary requirements, please let the Head Chef know. Waiters and barmen are provided at no additional cost.

Critchley Hackle can recommend all needed wedding services if you would like to get someone in Dullstroom. Some of the things that can also be arranged is: champagne and juice after the ceremony or babysitters for the young ones.

Conferences

Critchley Hackle is the ideal conference venue. You don't have to worry about a thing, everything is organised. Conferences can be tailor-made to suite your timetable and requirements. All conference rooms are provided with stationary, water and peppermints.

Delegates are hosted in the following styles: U-shape 30 delegates, board room 45 delegates, school room 30 delegates and cinema - chairs only 60 delegates. In the small conference room: U-shape 16 delegates, board room 18 delegates, school room 20 delegates and cinema - chairs only 26 delegates.
