Getting Married at Jatinga Country Lodge

Payment Requirements

• Your booking will be secured by the payment of a 50% deposit together with a signed copy of this contract within seven (7) days of booking the venue
• 30 days prior to the function:
• balance of payment is required
• confirm menu and liquor requirements
• 14 days before the function
• Procedure of function to be discussed and finalised
• Final checklist
• Final confirmation of menu and liquor requirements
• Final number of guests
• Prior to departure
• Balance of food and liquor bill and any extras is payable

Cancellations

• We will hold your booking on a provisional basis until a signed copy of this agreement is received along with the deposit.  The booking shall be released should this not occur within seven (7) days.
• All monies are non refundable once paid by the client within the stipulated time periods
• Unless specified elsewhere, the client will be entitled to vary the number of persons attending the function by up to 10% of the originally notified number at any time up to 14 days prior to the date of the function (subject to availability of space).
• Jatinga Country Lodge reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of any damages to, or destruction of the venue by fire, shortage of labour, strikes, industrial unrest or any other causes beyond the control of Jatinga, which shall prevent it from performing its obligations.  In these circumstances every effort will be made to find an alternative venue.
• All changes and cancellations must be confirmed in writing by the client.

Risk, Loss and Damages

• Jatinga Country Lodge shall not be held responsible for any interruptions of services (i.e. water, electricity, sanitary services).
• While every precaution will be taken to ensure the safe guarding of your belongings, Jatinga Country Lodge will not be held liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever (décor props, wedding gifts, valuables, etc.)  We recommend that all personal and valuable property be removed directly after the function.
• Should the Jatinga Country Lodge buildings, gardens, décor or napery be damaged in any way during the set up time period of the function, the client shall be held responsible and will be billed accordingly.
• Jatinga Country Lodge, its employees or any person employed at the function, will not be held liable for any loss, or injury to persons, due to negligence or any other cause whatsoever.
